About Pilipino Workers Center (PWC)
The Pilipino Workers Center (PWC) aims to secure the dignity and safety of the Pilipinx community and build labor leaders in the domestic worker industry. Founded in 1997, PWC has been organizing homecare workers for social justice, economic justice, and dignity for more than two decades.
Originally founded to address the substandard working conditions and wage theft experienced by mostly immigrant Pilipinx homecare workers, PWC builds power to advance fundamental shifts in the care economy that benefit the immigrant domestic and care workforce as an affiliate of the National Domestic Workers Alliance.
